Orhan and Semanur, such typical Teutonic names.

…Actually, increasingly typical: a bit of googling suggests these are Turkish names.  Germany has quite the immigrant population explosion going on, as Orhan and Semanur's six kids under age 13 attest.  German factories run on Turks.

It's a fair bet that Semanur earned her husband's ire for being too accepting of Western ways, which of course are not as Peaceful.

Berlin man 'beheads wife'

Berlin police were called to a domestic argument on Monday, where they found the chopped-up corpse of a 30-year-old woman. Her husband was reportedly seen throwing her head off the roof of the building. 

Six young children, all aged under 13, were in the flat when police arrived, but it remains unclear whether they were the couple's children.

The pair were reportedly arguing loudly in their flat in the Kreuzberg district of Berlin in the early hours of Monday morning when the neighbours called the police. 

Eyewitnesses told police they saw the man, named Orhan S., drag his wife Semanur onto their fifth floor roof terrace by the hair, then hack off her head while she was still alive. 

He then cut off both feet and breasts before throwing parts of her body onto the street below. He also reportedly threw the woman's head down into the building's central courtyard.

According to local paper Berliner Zeitung, the woman was pregnant while her youngest child was just a year old.

“He slaughtered her like a sheep,” a neighbour told the Berliner Zeitung.

Police restrained and arrested her 32-year-old husband after he put up a fight. One officer reportedly had to be escorted away in tears. 

None of the children appeared to be injured, police said, adding that they have all been taken into state care. Their exact ages and relation to the pair were not revealed. 

According to the Süddeutsche Zeitung, neighbours said the unemployed man suffered from psychological problems, and that the pair would often have violent arguments.

He is thought to have had another partner living in the same building, with whom he had two children, and his wife wanted to break the marriage off.
