Newly released photo shows bloodied George Zimmerman from night of Trayvon Martin incident

Sounds like Prosecutorial  misconduct.

Or more of the same bias raising its ugly head.

A newly released, graphic photo of George Zimmerman, taken the night of his fateful confrontation with Florida teen Trayvon Martin, shows the accused murderer with a bloody face.

Zimmerman’s legal team released the photo, which they believe bolsters their case that Zimmerman, 29, was being beaten when he fatally shot the 17-year-old Martin in the chest. The photo was taken by police and only released to Zimmerman’s team recently, said Zimmerman’s lawyer. Previously, the team only had a black-and-white photocopy of the picture.

“That's really one of my frustrations. They originally submitted a black and white photo so we asked for a color copy. They then submitted a color photo copy that was drab," said Zimmerman's attorney Mark O'Mara to Foxnews.com.

"We kept asking for a digital copy and then we had to file a motion [in court] to have it submitted."

O'Mara says that the discovery phase has been rife with issues.

"It just seems like it's been pulling teeth for discovery in this case," he said.

Martin was killed Feb. 26, in a confrontation that sparked a national debate on race, guns and Florida’s controversial Stand Your Ground law, which states that people under attack do not have a duty to try to retreat before using deadly force.

Martin’s defenders say the youth was merely cutting through a gated community in Sanford, Fla., after picking up snacks during halftime of the NBA All-Star game when Zimmerman, a volunteer neighborhood watch captain, racially profiled him. Zimmerman claims the youth acted suspiciously, and attacked him, bashing his head against a sidewalk.

Zimmerman told investigators he grabbed his gun from a holster on his waist before Martin could get it, and shot the teenager once in the chest. A tape released by his lawyer shows two butterfly bandages on the back of Zimmerman's head and another on his nose.

Zimmerman’s lawyers said the photocopy of the image was provided by the prosecutors in the first round of discovery. The high-resolution digital file was finally provided to the defense on Oct. 29, and defense attorneys have said they will make all public documents related to the case available on their website.

Prosecutors had asked for the gag order, claiming a website and social media used by Zimmerman's attorney could influence potential jurors in the racially charged case.

On Monday, Zimmerman's defense team publicly released a motion, filed the same day, asking  for the additional deposition of one of the lead investigators due to information that surfaced during his original interview on Nov. 19th.

Requests for comment to special prosecutor Angela Corey's office were not immediately returned.

America’s Slumbering Watchdog

America’s Slumbering Watchdog :: Politichicks

This past Thanksgiving, I did what I have done every Thanksgiving morning since I was a little girl– I woke up, walked downstairs, and turned on the television in anticipation for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Watching the parade is simply nostalgic to me.

However, I just happened to turn on the television when a news segment was airing on NBC about the latest conflict between Hamas and Israel. I was absolutely astounded how the network appeared to be “championing” around the Palestinians as if they were righteous and powerless against their evil aggressor, Israel.

Never mind the fact that the Palestinians had been launching rockets into Israel, killing innocent civilians, including a pregnant woman and her unborn child before Israel even began its aerial offensive to cripple the Hamas infrastructure, and to protect Israeli civilians from further rocket fire.

In reality, Israel is a tiny country the size of New Jersey surrounded by 22 hostile nations who are committed to destroying her. As David Kupelian, author of The Marketing of Evil writes:

“To regard the tiny Jewish state as the aggressor in the Arab-Israeli conflict, then, is delusional. It’s like putting a seven-year-old in the ring with a heavyweight boxer and seeing the adult as the underdog and the child as the bully.”

Kupelian continues:

“The Palestinian cause is a modern-day myth, broadcast and reinforced endlessly by the news media. The Palestinian State is the Trojan horse of the Arab world, designed to get inside Israel by way of deception and promises of peace. The Palestinian leadership does not want peace with Israel; it wants Israel.”

When 4-year-old Mahmoud Sadallah was killed by a Hamas rocket that fell short in Gaza (instead of its intended target, Israel), CNN called the boy “another victim of an [Israeli] airstrike.” Other newspapers also showed his photo as an example of the Palestinian civilians killed by Israel’s ongoing military campaign against militants in Gaza.

How quickly the boy was as a symbol of Israeli “aggression” toward the Palestinians.

Yet, the pregnant Israeli woman and her unborn child (who were killed by Palestinian rockets) were never mentioned as a symbol of the Palestinians’ “hate” toward Israel.  (For the record, the woman’s name was Mirah Sharf.)

The media also seems to have ignored the fact that Hamas has aired a “Death to Israel” music video the day after agreeing to a ceasefire.

Never mind the fact that less than one week after signing the cease-fire agreement, reports indicate Hamas was already ignoring the truce by smuggling Iranian weapons into Gaza. And never mind the fact that Hamas is also gaining support from its neighboring nation, Egypt. In fact, according to Breitbart TV, “Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohammed Badie began calling for Palestinians to rise up and destroy Israel the day after the cease-fire with Hamas was signed.”

Yet, Israel is the aggressor, Mainstream Media?

“Why should we even care how the media reports on Israel, anyway?” one might ask. Well, because Israel is a nation much like the United States. She is the only Western democracy amongst many repressive, terror-supporting Islamic police states that are dedicated to her annihilation (as well as the destruction of the Western way of life, altogether). And, if the media perceives Israel as the aggressive bully, how do you think the press truly perceives the United States?

Benghazi:

Benghazi is certainly an atrocity the press seems to have chosen to slumber through this fall ……well, except for the hot and steamy sex scandal part. Even then, they had more interest in General Patraeus and his mistress than the fact that four Americans were killed, including our ambassador.

It’s no secret the media has been complicit in covering up the September 11th Libyan terrorist attack in order to ensure President Obama’s reelection on November 6th. The Obama “lapdogs” have been going right along with the administration, ignoring the fact(s) that: 1. Requests were sent for additional security (before the attack) in Benghazi, but were rejected by high-ranking officials. 2.The Obama administration had been given a three-day warning prior to the pre-planned, pre-calculated attack (by Libya’s interim President, Mohammed el-Megarif). 3. The White House had access to REAL TIME video (via drone) during the attack, but made no move to defend the consulate. 4.The White House blamed the attack on a you-tube video (for over two weeks) when they knew it had absolutely nothing to do with Benghazi.

Even Democratic strategist Pat Caddell, excoriated the mainstream media for their coverage of the Benghazi attack and what appears to be a cover up by the Obama administration. He even went so far as to call them the “enemy of the American people” in September. He’s absolutely right about that. Any media outlet that places politics ahead of the safety of American citizens–is a threat to our nation.

Egypt:

Unfortunately, the mainstream media also chose to ignore all the stern warnings during the Egyptian uprising in January of 2011. “Swept away” by the idea of the Arab Spring, the press touted the Egyptian protests as a “pro-democracy” movement without much thought as to whose hands Egypt would fall after the “ousting”of President Hosni Mubarak.

We all watched as thousands of anti-government protesters, some hurling rocks and climbing atop armored police trucks, clashed with police in the center of Cairo in a Tunisia-inspired demonstration demanding the end of Mubarak’s nearly 30-year reign.

The Egyptians certainly got what they wanted. After 18 days of massive public demonstrations, Mubarak’s reign had finally come to an end. We then got to watch the several hundred thousand Egyptians pouring into Tahrir Square, screaming for joy, waving Egyptian flags, blowing car horns, jumping up and down and chanting slogans such as: “Egypt is free,” “God is great,” “The people have brought down the regime.”

And, the mainstream media celebrated along with them, despite all the warnings that Egypt would likely fall into the hands of Islamic Extremists.

Granted, Mubarak was indeed a cruel dictator. One can’t blame the Egyptians for wanting to rid themselves of him, and the media for being jubilant for the Egyptian “freedom” movement. However, Mubarak did actually do two things right when he was in power. One, he outlawed the extremist Islamic organization, the Muslim Brotherhood and two, he kept them suppressed for years.

The Muslim Brotherhood is the barbaric organization dedicated to implementing oppressive Sharia Law across the entire globe. Under Sharia Law, women are actually treated far inferior to animals. A woman can be beaten and flogged for minor offenses, and legally killed by men in her family. Under Sharia Law, certain kinds of child molestation are even permitted. Under Sharia Law, there is even justification for killing infidels (those who do not adopt Islam as their religion). Sharia Law is a barbaric form of theocracy that is ultimately oppressive to all who are under its dark cloud.

Yet, the Muslim Brotherhood’s Mohamed Morsi somehow won Egypt’s presidential election this past June. Needless to say, just in the past week, Morsi made a power-grab that moved him toward a dictatorship. Sadly, instead of having the democracy many Egyptians desperately craved, they are actually right back where they started before the 2011 uprising. Only, their Secular dictator (Mubarak) was exchanged with a more extreme Islamic one.

Unfortunately, even the American mainstream media refers to these Islamic extremists as “moderate Islamists,” which is insanely reckless. Any organization (like the Muslim Brotherhood) that believes that I should be killed, simply because I don’t worship their prophet… is far from moderate.

Fast and Furious:

Another atrocity the press seemed to sleep right through– is Fast and Furious. If they did their job, more Americans would be better informed about this massive gun-walking scandal, and how the Obama administration allowed deadly weapons to get into the hands of dangerous Mexican drug cartels. If the media did its job, more Americans would be infuriated by the fact that the Fast and Furious debacle resulted in well over 300 deaths, including the death of U.S. border agent Brian Terry. If the press accurately reported, more Americans would be infuriated with the fact that Fast and Furious was actually the administration’s failed attempt to impede on their Second Amend rights. Sadly, America’s watchdog did not even bark about Fast and Furious.

2008 Economic Crisis:

In the 2008 economic crisis, we sat back and watched as many media reports blamed the greed of bankers, or “market failure,” or “deregulation,” as the reasons for the financial crisis. Yet, reports failed to mention the real causes of the inflated housing prices and the collapse of the financial institutions. In fact, the media largely ignored the three government policies that caused these things:

1. There was little mention of Congressman Barney Frank, and his ‘propping’ of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the quasi- government agencies that guaranteed that they would stand behind the loans to people who had no ability to repay them.

2. There was little mention of the government requirements imposed by Congress that banks make a certain percentage of their loans to people whose financial ability would not allow them to qualify for loans. Most Americans still do not know that banks were forced to do this by government policy, backed the threat of lawsuits and fines.

3. The media also failed to report the irresponsible policy of the Federal Reserve Board that kept interest rates so low that they encouraged millions of people to borrow much more than would be financially responsible in ordinary circumstances, thus leading to an excess amount of credit on the market and driving up housing prices year after year in a bubble that would eventually burst.

Unfortunately, our watchdog failed to give a balanced perspective during the 2008 economic crisis, just as it has failed to give balanced reporting on Israel, Benghazi, Egypt, Fast and Furious. And, these are just a few examples of the stories being misreported, if even reported at all by our media. In fact, it’s pretty sad when many of us now actually rely on media sources outside the U.S. to find out what is happening in our own nation.

Believe it or not, the press does have an incredibly important role in protecting this nation– by simply reporting facts to the American people. That’s why the First Amendment is so critical to “We the People”.

We need  free press so that people can freely criticize the government when it is straying from the Constitution. When the media does its job and alerts us of government wrongdoing, it is holding the government accountable for its actions. When our leaders begin to falter, their falters are to be addressed by the press so that Americans will know about it.

Unfortunately, our press seems to be preoccupied these days, too busy trying to make evil and corruption look attractive, while making the Constitution and biblical principles look so unfair, mean-spirited, and outdated.

The Hebrew prophet Isaiah stated, “His watchmen are blind; they are without knowledge; they are all silent dogs; they cannot bark, dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber (Isa. 56:10).

Because America’s watchdogs “cannot bark”- they sure have failed to call the Obama administration in to account over the past four years. It’s no wonder so many Americans lacked the information needed to make wise decisions about the November election, and about the direction our country is headed.

That’s why it’s up to you and me to do the barking. You and I are now the watchdogs appointed to guard our precious republic. It’s up to you and me to do our own homework, and to share our findings with one another. So, stay alert and keep barking, my fellow watchdog!

Plan on seeing the movie "Lincoln"? Keep this in mind...

Chris Rossini (who wrote this article) has his own website,
economicpolicyjournal.com
This particular article was reprinted in Daily Paul and Lew Rockwell.

Chris also wrote an article in Lew Rockwell, wherein he criticizes
Yaron Brook for opposing the term "libertarian" because of it's
association with Murray Rothbard. He falsely claims the mantle
of a "non-aggression axiom"-based ideology, while in reality he
favors non-interventionism over all other principles.

The two terms are defined differently in history and dictionaries.
To "intervene" simply means, a third party protects a victim from
an aggressor. Such protection does not necessarily constitute
aggression. To "aggress" means to initiate force. Non-interventionists
falsely claim that only the victim has the right to use force against
an initiator of force. That when party "a" initiates force against
party "b", if party "c" intervenes that is initiation because "a"
has not initiated force against "c" even though he has initiated
force against "b".

Non-interventionism would leave every person an island,
entitled to self-protection only and not protection of any others.

The US Civil War should be seen as a continuation of the civil
war in Britian, between "roundheads" like Cromwell vs. royalists.
When one was in power, the other would emigrate to America.
The royalists became southern slave owners, the roundheads
became northern puritans.

This explains why Rothbard's disciple, Hans Hermann Hoppe,
opposes Napolean not because he was a tyrant but because
he overthrow monarchies. Non-interventionists believe that
the sovereign has a moral right to rule as he sees fit, within
his own kingdom. I have discovered historical proof for this,
in chapter 4 of Ancient Law by Maine. Monarchs wanted
popular justification for their rule, so viewed themselves
as proprietors in international law (supposedly based on
Jus Gentium).

Non-interventionists favor the confederacy because they
don't believe in the non-aggression axiom (they falsely
claim adherence). They favor the confederacy because they
don't want an outside power intervening against slavery.
They pose as free-traders, presumably that would include
"free trade" in slaves, because of economic interests not
ideology.

Admittedly the north was not in favor of the non-aggression
axiom. They were Republicans who favored the use of
government power to serve the interests of existing business.
This explains their support for subsidies to railroads,
and tariffs.

In any event, the motivations of the north and south are irrelevant
to the issue of slavery. End results are more important than
intentions, in fact intentions are often obstacles to the
results they claim to favor. The end result of the Civil War
was the end of formal slavery in the US, and that was a
good thing, despite the imperfections in Republican ideology.

Plan on seeing the movie "Lincoln"? Keep this in mind...
By, Chris Rossini

1832 - Lincoln begins his political career in the Illinois legislature

“I presume you all know who I am. I am humble Abraham Lincoln. I have been solicited by many friends to become a candidate for the legislature. My politics are short and sweet, like the old woman’s dance. I am in favor of a national bank…in favor of the internal improvements system and a high protective tariff.”

Lincoln hits the ground running with central banking, corporate welfare, and high taxation. We are still living with all of them...only the players have changed.

1838 - Lincoln's corporate welfare brings Illinois to its knees
William H. Herndon, Lincoln’s law partner and one of his closest friends, wrote:

“Every river and stream…was to be widened, deepened, and made navigable. A canal to connect the Illinois River and Lake Michigan was to be dug…cities were to spring up everywhere; capital from abroad was to come pouring in; attracted by the glowing reports of marvelous progress and great internal wealth, people were to come swarming in by colonies, until in the end Illinois was to outstrip all others, and herself become the Empire State of the Union.”...

“The internal improvement system, the adoption of which Lincoln had played such a prominent part, had collapsed, with the result that Illinois was left with an enormous debt and empty treasury.”

Not much has changed. Today, Illinois is a financial train wreck waiting to happen.

But back to Lincoln. You'd think that after such a disaster, one would lose all credibility and trustworthiness.

Nope! When it comes to government, nothing succeeds like failure.

1858 - The Great Emancipator on the black & white races
Lincoln's words from the famous Lincoln vs. Douglas debate on Sept. 18, 1858:

"I will say then that I am not, nor ever have been in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races, [applause] that I am not nor ever have been in favor of making voters or jurors of negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, not to intermarry with white people; and I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which I believe will for ever forbid the two races living together on terms of social and political equality."

1861 - Abraham Lincoln - The First Republican President
The dreadful political party that we're still battling today began with Lincoln.

Please don't fool yourself into thinking that somehow The Republican Party, that was born in tyranny, will end up getting taken over by Libertarians; and the country will return to the freedom-loving days of the founding fathers.

No.

It surely can't happen that way.

The Republican Party, since day one, and all the way up to today, is no friend of liberty. The saying "by their fruits, ye shall know them" speaks volumes here. It reminds you to look at the root.

The root of The Republican Party tree lies here in 1861. Don't ever expect it to grow the fruits of liberty.

Before moving on, let's not skip past Lincoln's first inaugural address. He touched on the question of slavery and quoted one of his earlier published speeches:

“I have no purpose, directly or indirectly, to interfere with the institution of slavery in the States where it exists. I believe I have no lawful right to do so, and I have no inclination to do so.”

1861 - Lincoln refuses a peaceful Southern Secession
Many Americans (educated by their government, of course) believe that "The Civil War" was fought to free the slaves. This is just not true. This was a war over Southern secession.

The war is misnamed. It was not a Civil War. The South had no interest in taking over the Northern government.

Confederate President Jefferson Davis wanted to make clear to the North that the Confederates did not constitute a threat to the government in Washington:

“We seek no conquest, no aggrandizement, no concession of any kind…all we ask is to be let alone.”

President Davis appointed three commissioners to negotiate with the North. The commissioners reached Washington on Mar. 5, 1861, the day after Lincoln’s inauguration.

Lincoln's response? He outright refused to see the commissioners, and also refused to recognize the Confederate government.

Whether the South wanted conquest or not made no difference. It was the economic policies of the South that enraged the North.

You see, the Confederate Constitution created, in essence, a free trade zone with opposition to protectionism. It stated:

“but no bounties shall be granted from the Treasury; nor shall any duties or taxes on importation from foreign nations be laid to promote or foster any branch of industry.”

Davis, in his Inaugural Address stated that he was “anxious to cultivate peace and commerce with all nations,” and that “our policy is peace, and the freest trade our necessities will permit.”

This was in stark contrast to the North's high-taxes and protectionism. And remember what Lincoln said when he entered politics: "I am in favor of a national bank…in favor of the internal improvements system and a high protective tariff."

Free Trade? Ha!

The North was in no way going to allow the South become an attractive market for the rest of the world, while at the same time, pricing out the North.

On Apr. 2, 1861 The Newark Daily Advertiser, warned ominously that Southerners had apparently “taken to their bosoms the liberal and popular doctrine of free trade” and that they “might be willing to go…toward free trade with the European powers” which “must operate to the serious disadvantage of the North” as “commerce will be largely diverted to the Southern cities.”

This is America...the "land of the free"...and if there's one thing that will not be tolerated, it's free trade.

When Lincoln was in Congress, he had no problem with secession. In a speech on Jan. 12, 1848, he said:

“Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable, a most sacred right - a right which we hope and believe is to liberate the world. Nor is this right confined to cases in which the whole people of an existing government may choose to exercise it. Any portion of such people, that can, may revolutionize, and make their own of so much of the territory as they inhabit.”

But as President, Lincoln's words went out the door as fast as George W. Bush's "humble" foreign policy.

As President, Lincoln called secession the “essence of anarchy.”

In other words, if the South wanted free trade, then it was time for Lincoln to invade.

Now the fun begins....

1861

  • Apr. 19, Lincoln imposed a blockade on Southern ports of South Carolina, Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas. Did Congress declare war? No. Constitution violated.
  • Apr. 20, Lincoln ordered the Sec. of Treasury to spend public money for defense without congressional appropriation, violating the Constitution.
  • Apr. 27, Lincoln made the unprecedented move of suspending, through an unconstitutional order, the writ of habeas corpus, or the protection against unlawful imprisonment.
  • Lincoln signed a warrant for the arrest of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court because the Judge rendered an opinion that Lincoln acted unconstitutionally by suspending the writ of habeas corpus.
  • Lincoln had U.S. Rep. Clement Vallandigham of Ohio arrested for “disloyal sentiments and speeches.” Vallandigham opposed the Morrill Tariff and the central bank.
  • An estimated 13,000 Northern citizens were detained for merely expressing opposition to the war. This group contained hundreds of newspaper editors and owners. None of these people ever heard evidence against them and were never brought to trial.
  • During the war, adult male civilians in the South were compelled to take a loyalty oath to the federal government or be shot. In the words of Justice Benjamin R. Curtis, Lincoln had established “a military despotism.”

1862 - What's war without paper money to pay for it?
In the Legal Tender Act of Feb. 1862, Congress authorized the printing of $150 million in new “United States notes” (Greenbacks) to pay for the growing war deficits. “In God We Trust” was also introduced on the U.S. dollar in 1862 when it’s gold backing was dropped.

2012?...No change...Worldwide military empire...constant war....all financed with electronic digits and enforced with legal tender laws.

Here's a heads up though...Eventually (like Lincoln's Greenbacks) the money becomes worthless.

1862 - The Great Emancipator on freeing slaves
Lincoln wrote to Horace Greeley:

"My paramount object in this struggle is to save the Union, and is not either to save or to destroy slavery. If I could save the Union without freeing any slave I would do it, and if I could save it by freeing all the slaves I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing some and leaving others alone I would also do that. What I do about slavery, and the colored race, I do because I believe it helps to save the Union; and what I forbear, I forbear because I do not believe it would help to save the Union."

Lincoln's America
In the interest of brevity, I'll end with a quote from H.L. Mencken. He talks about Lincoln's absurd claim, in The Gettysburg Address, that Northern soldiers fought for the cause of self-determination:

"It is difficult to imagine anything more untrue. The Union soldiers in the battle actually fought against self determination; it was the Confederates who fought for the right of their people to govern themselves. The Confederates went into the battle free; they came out with their freedom subject to the supervision of the rest of the country."

The "Union" was saved...geographically. The spirit of self-determination and decentralization was crushed.

Sadly, for generations to come (including us) the power of centralized government in America had only just begun.

Propeller Planes Come Back Amid High Fuel Prices

Image001

Turboprop planes make up the entire fleet at Silver Airways. Airlines are increasingly using propeller planes to cut costs.

November 28, 2012 from WABE

Record-high fuel prices have hammered airlines, forcing executives to eliminate flights, cut back on unprofitable routes and make passengers pay for many perks that used to be free.

Now the airlines are looking at other ways to save money. That means a new opportunity for a plane from the past.

On a typical day at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, the "Plane Train" ferries some 200,000 travelers a day between terminals. One of those passengers, Rebecca Hamilton, is on her way home to Florida.

"If I can do it economically, I fly out of Gainesville," she says.

Often, she finds that affordable ticket on Delta Air Lines. Hamilton knows that always means two things: a connection through Atlanta, and at least part of her trip will be on a smaller, regional jet. But that's changing.

Tonight, she's a bit surprised to board a plane branded "Silver Airways." And it's not a regional jet. It has propellers — something she has not seen in decades.

"Mostly I remember what other people say: that it's bouncier and that it's more turbulent and your stomach whooshes into your, you know, a little more often. But quite frankly, it takes a lot to make me feel scared and I just don't really mind it," Hamilton says.

Outside, the propeller blades create a rhythmic ruckus as they chop through the air. Inside, it's only a faint drone. Ninety minutes later, Hamilton is on the ground in Gainesville, ready for her short drive home. The airplane she came in on is also home.

These 34-seat Saab turboprops make up the entire Silver fleet. And each night at its 60,000-square-foot maintenance hangar at Gainesville's airport, crews check tires, landing gear and dozens of other components. Night maintenance supervisor Justin Hernandez is about to sign off on what looks like a new plane.

"Right now, to the left, Aircraft 352, that's our latest. Its aircraft name is Limitless. It just got here from conformity check," Hernandez says.

That's the last step before rotating into the Silver fleet. Regional carrier Mesaba once flew this plane, first with Northwest Airlines' colors, and more recently, Delta's.

Matthew Holiday, a vice president at Silver, says the carrier doesn't try to hide its turboprop fleet. Rather, it embraces it — right down to the logo, which mimics a spinning propeller.

"We want to be clear in our messaging to consumers that this is a turboprop. But it's not a bad thing," Holiday says.

Through the 1990s and 2000s, airlines replaced turboprops with faster regional jets. Jet fuel was about 87 cents per gallon. Now it's four times that much. Since turboprops use less fuel, flying one instead of a jet often means a profit instead of a loss. So expect to see more, says Regional Airline Association President Roger Cohen.

"After a steady decline in the ratio of turboprops to jets in the regional fleet, we've just seen here over the last year, year and a half, the first time that line started to move in the other direction," Cohen says.

The Federal Aviation Administration forecasts regional jets with fewer than 40 seats will disappear from fleets by 2015. This comes as reliance on larger turboprop aircraft doubles in the next decade. And with new technology that cancels most noise and vibration, they won't be your grandfather's turboprop.

Come right in and step right up. See the bright lights and the oddities of nature. Inside folks, for the low price of twenty-two trillion dollars, you can see Binders of Women, Team Big Bird and entire reams of green windmills and fields full of bayonets and horses. Here lies become the truth and everything is full of sugar. And the highlight of the show with be Barack, the Exotic Prince from the Wilds of Indonesia and Kenya, with a special appearance by Oprah and a hologram of JFK. Here in the Carnival of Fools, the party never stops and no one ever has to pay the bill.

"There's a sucker born every minute," a famous connoisseur of them once said. And suckers are big business. Very big business indeed. But don't feel too sorry for the sucker. The sucker is a creature composed of ignorance and greed. He believes in his own specialness. He believes that he can fool other people into giving him their money, when actually he is the one being fleeced. The mark is an aspiring scammer who is too dumb to realize that nothing in life is free and the scam is on him.

If you browse through your email's spam folder, the chances are good that you will come upon a missive from a Nigerian prince offering you the opportunity to help him cart away his fortune in exchange for a sharp cut of the profits. These scams date back to the dinosaur years of the internet, and though there are occasional elaborations on the theme, the African scammers stick to the tried and true, even though the tried and true has become a cliche that anyone should be able to see through.

Why?

Because the Nigerian Prince scam is a self-selecting group. Anyone who still falls for it after all these years is dumber than your average sucker. The scammers know this and they don't want to waste their valuable time hooking a difficult fish with a plausible scam. They go for easy marks for the same reason that some men fish with dynamite. Because it's easier.

America has its own Nigerian Prince. I think you know his name by now. His campaign sent out nearly as many emails as his Nigerian colleagues do, promising fame and fortune to those suckers who would help him transfer some wealth from the 1 percent to the 99 percent. And now that his second term is here, the check is in the mail. And if the government check doesn't clear, well that's what happens when you put your faith in Nigerian Princes.

A scam like the Democratic Party needs suckers. It needs millions and millions of the dumbest people that can be found outside of specially supervised group homes. And then it needs to appoint people to watch over them, give them the occasional food and minor check, and drive them in vans to the polls after two or four years so that the con artists can keep their manicured paws on the local treasury.

These people have to be stupid, yes, but like all marks, they have to be greedy. They have to be the kind of people who relish taking someone else's money without working for it. The kind who grin at the idea of putting something over someone else. The kind who think that they are smart because they decided that the world owes them a living. They think that they're smart, but they're only the marks in a con. And when the con is done, like the guy depositing a check from Nigeria's Prince Uscamo, they are going to be the ones left holding the bag.

A con plays on the greed of the mark. And on his stupidity. And in a democracy, you can take over a country if you organize enough motivated suckers to vote for trillions in government money that they will never see, but that they are on the hook for. And if you don't have enough native suckers, then you import more, taking care that your immigration policies favor the greedy sucker demographic. But unfortunately in a democracy where half the population doesn't bother to vote and a quarter votes for the scammers, we are all on the hook for the scam.

We have just gone through two lovely elections that were won on the carnival principle. Put up a lot of bright lights, some unusual things for the crowds to gawp at, a few scantily clad ladies of the evening, and a lot of smooth patter, and forget taking any of the issues seriously. Tell jokes, juggle balls and deliver applause lines. And most of all promise the sky while taking the suckers for all they have and will ever have.

It nearly didn't work, but the extra effort was put in and the vans delivered their cargo loads of moral depravity to the polls, where the poll workers showed them how to vote, and then the vans took them to do some food stamp shopping to remind them of how good life is under the scam. And many other people, the ones who don't return emails from Nigerian princes, didn't bother to vote, because they don't believe in any element of the scam. And that just means the chief scammers have an open field.

And so the reign of the scam continues for another four years. The world will burn and the country will slide closer to the economic abyss. But in their dorm rooms, the Julias will pine knowing that their Nigerian prince loves them (doesn't he sent them daily emails personally addressed to them?) and the vans will go back and forth, and cashiers will run food stamp cards through the machines in neighborhoods which subsist entirely on the scam, and in the hospitals elderly patients will due because health care is free, but treatments are more expensive than ever. And the devil will laugh.

Carnivals have to end sooner or later. And the scam doesn't look nearly as good in the light of day as it does at night, when everyone has had a few drinks and life seems good and magic can happen. A few of us hopefully thought that daybreak had come, but no it was only the light of the carnival and the drunken laughter of fools spending their last dime to hear their Nigerian prince crack a joke, hum a tune and pledge his undying love to them.

"The fool walks in darkness," said the Chief Executive of a nation called Israel some 3,000 years ago. And for the fools of Carny Nation, who, as he observed, fold their hands and eat their own flesh, rather than work for a living, it is always the midnight hour, always time for another drink, another laugh, another novelty and another spin of the wheel that goes round and round and never stops until sunlight touches it and it turns to dust.

The fools of Carny Nation fancy themselves wise men. After all they eat without paying for it. They get money without working for it. Every baby they pop out buys them another pair of shoes. When they vote Democrat, the President of Carny Nation sends them a check. And so they put another vote in the machine, get back a few quarters, put another one in the mission, and wait for the day that the redistribution jackpot will give them everything.

Last year in Zimbabwe, formerly Rhodesia, the price of three eggs ran to 100 billion dollars. A beer cost 150 billion dollars and a roll of toilet paper, well it was just cheaper to use million dollar bills. We are talking about Zimbabwean dollars here, not American dollars, but eventually there will be no difference. Zimbabwe yesterday. America tomorrow. Money isn't magic and there comes a point when no amount of words can increase its value. Eventually it becomes cheaper to print out presidential speeches on the bright economic future and use them as toilet paper.

When food stamps start coming in billion dollar quantities, then the sucker bet on Obama, Prince of Kenya, Indonesia and Chicago, may start looking bad. But suckers never realize when a bet is going bad. They double down and begin yammering some more about raising taxes. And why not. We're sixteen trillion in debt. Why not raise taxes by a few trillion? You have to break a few billion dollar eggs to make a thirty-trillion dollar omelet. And that beer summit, it will cover the entire defense budget.

The grandchildren of Carny Nation will die in the streets, just as they do in their own home countries, but for now their future grandparents know that a baby buys a pair of shoes, 350 dollar Nike LeBron X's, and that a vote for the Democrats will keep them from having to work or route them into nice government jobs with big benefits and easy hours. And when it all comes crashing down and their children are crying for food, because 100 billion dollar eggs are hard to come by; they will never blame themselves, instead they will blame the people they were scamming all these years, rather than the scammers who scammed them.

But of course Carny Nation is more than just food stamps and welfare checks. It's green windmills turning slowly in deserts with no wind. It's banks licking their lips at carbon taxes and consultants lining up to consult on everything from diversity to sustainability to intangibility. They are higher up on the scam pole, but like their van brethren, they're still scammers who don't realize that in the end they are the ones being scammed. Their children won't die in the streets, but their bank accounts will.

Fools come in all shapes and sizes, in all races, religions and bank account sizes. Dumb isn't measured by degrees or IQ points. Dumb people can absorb a lot of knowledge and spit it back. They can even discuss it incessantly in their best Word-a-Day language skills. The difference between dumb and smart does not come down to literacy or being able to juggle isosceles triangles/ Memory is a skill and most people can learn something if they really want to and have the proper background for it. The difference between smart and dumb is the difference between knowing what's real and what isn't.

Intelligence is a bunch of brain cells packed by a few lines of DNA into a cranium. Those are mental skills and they come in handy when tackling Algebra or studying the history of the Mayans. King Solomon, that ancient chief executive of a kingdom despised by Carny Nation, wasn't talking about learning as intelligence, but as wisdom. Wisdom isn't just knowledge, it's understanding that knowledge by drawing the right conclusions. The search for wisdom is the search for those right conclusions.

Fools are often very clever. Some have enormously high IQs and office walls packed with so many degrees that there is no room for a window. And they are still fools because they have no ability to draw the right conclusions. Knowledge is cheap. Your computer has access to more of it than all the wise men of history put together could ever dream of. Intelligence is a genetic gift. Wisdom is what you acquire with both or without either. It is the right conclusions that we draw about life from living it.

Intelligent fools are a Zimbabwean dollar a dozen and the Zimbabwean dollar doesn't buy a whole lot. Carny Nation 2012 Forward to the America of the Super Future on horses and bayonets of irony and binders full of memes was powered by clever, intelligent, technocratic and even cunning fools. And above them all was our own King Fool, our Scammer-in-Chief, our Nigerian Prince, who like all scammers is passing the time scamming us while unable to realize that he is the one being scammed and the time will come, when he will fall beneath the bus under whose wheels he has hurled so many.

"There is no future for those who slander the Prophet of Islam," our Nigerian Prince proclaimed, as part of his coverup of the murder of four Americans, left to die by his government. A coverup that has resulted in the first political prisoner in generations sitting in a cell. But there is a future for those who disdain Mohammed, that primal scammer who told his followers that they would have an endless supply of virgin girls to rape in paradise if they killed enough of his enemies and stole their stuff in the here-and-now. There is however no future for fools. There is no future for Carny Nation.

The Democrats have built themselves a pyramid scheme of Babel and it's fools, suckers and marks all the way down. This is their Carny Nation and it only sustains itself by demanding greater levels of stupidity from its followers. The worse the storm grows, the dumber and trashier the base of its pyramid grows as vaccination against sudden conclusions from outside.

Popular culture, the media and politics becomes one. A great white noise machine of light and sound, carnival lights, smells and sounds, men throwing flaming torches in the air, shouts and cries, rap stars, memes, ladies of the evening, stars, banners, slogans, cheers and anything else that will keep the fools from realizing that the time is five minutes after five and the time is coming for the scammers to slink away into the night with their ill gotten loot and for the suckers who thought they were scammers and the marks who thought they were cons to clutch their carbon offsets and food stamps and raise their eyes dazedly as the sunrise exposes the tawdriness of the carnival, the false front stalls, the empty baskets and the last drabs of greasepaint on their hands.

And then Carny Nation will end.

Keep the Fire Burning--Rednecks!!!!!

MUST BE A REDNECK .......... This is not the type of Redneck jokes we normally hear, this

is a bit different.

Untitled_attachment_00049

We have enjoyed the redneck jokes for years. It's time to
Take a reflective look at the core beliefs of a culture that
Values home, family, country and God. If I had to stand
Before a dozen terrorists who threaten my life, I'd
Choose a half dozen or so rednecks to back me up.
Tire irons, squirrel guns and grit -- that's what rednecks are
Made of . If you feel the same, pass this on to your redneck friends.
Y'all know who ya are...................

.
You might be a redneck if: It never occurred to you to
Be offended by the phrase, 'One nation, under God..'

You might be a redneck if: You've never protested about seeing
The 10 Commandments posted in public places.

You might be a redneck if: You still say ' Christmas'
Instead of 'Winter Festival.'

You might be a redneck if:
You bow your head when

Someone prays.

You might be a redneck if:
You stand and place your
Hand over your heart when they play the National Anthem

You might be a redneck if:You treat our armed forces
Veterans with great respect, and always have.

You might be a redneck if:You've never burned an
American flag, nor intend to.

You might be a redneck if: You know what you believe
And you aren't afraid to say so, no matter who is listening.

You might be a redneck if: You respect your elders and
Raised your kids to do the same.

Some of you are so old you don't have elders to respect.

You might be a redneck if: You'd give your last dollar to
A friend.

You might be a redneck if: You believe in God, Jesus & the Holy Spirit!

And believe that others have the right to believe in which

Ever God they believe in as long as their God does not

Tell them to kill anyone who does not believe the same

As they do!!!!!

If you got this email from me, it is because I believe that
You, like me, have just enough Red Neck in you to have the
Same beliefs as those talked about in this email.

God Bless the USA !

Response Time in El Paso , Texas

Three armed felons crossed the U. S . border and attempted to rob an off
duty El Paso police officer dressed in civilian clothes while he stood in
front of a bank.

The plan was for two of them to grab his backpack and toss it to an
accomplice on a stolen motorcycle.
However, the well prepared police officer shot all of them, killing two
immediately. The third was shot in both arms and bled to death before the
ambulance arrived.

This is how much the U. S. Taxpayer would have had to pay to prosecute these
thugs:
Arrest and detention for 1 night = -$6,000
Transportation for deportation back to Mexico the next day = -$1000
Air time for Obama to apologize in 30 min speech $25,007,000

What it actually cost:
Four .40 rounds = $1.00
Taxpayer savings = $25,006,999.00

They Picked The Wrong Man to Rob - Only in TEXA S !
THE AVERAGE RESPONSE TIME FOR A 911 CALL IS 4 MINUTES .
THE AVERAGE RESPONSE TIME FOR A .40 S &W ROUND IS ABOUT 1225 FEET PER
SECOND.

I LOVE TO READ STORIES WITH SUCH BEAUTIFUL ENDINGS.
