QATAR'S EMIR PROPOSES 1 BILLION FUND "FOR DEFENSE OF JERUSALEM'S ARAB IDENTITY" Posted: 26 Mar 2013 11:21 AM PDT   Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani says 'Palestinian, Arab and Muslim rights in Jerusalem are not negotiable and Israel must realize this Sheikh Hamad proposed creating a $1 billion fund for the defense of Jerusalem's Arab identity. Qatar, he said, would contribute $250 million and expects other Arab nations to come up with the rest.   The Palestinian Authority noted that the Arab League has made such decisions in the past that were never implemented, including a financial and security net for the PA. The demonstrators prevented some anti-Islamist anchors from getting into their studios and presenting in their programs. They blocked some gates of the media city except for those of Islamic channels. The rally of Islamists outside the EMPC started Sunday in protest against what they described as "a fierce, biased anti- Islamist media campaign," claiming that some anchors stirred the public opinion against Islamist-oriented President Mohamed Morsi and his supporters. 3RD YEAR MED SCHOOL STUDENT EXPELLED FOR WEARING HIJAB (RUSSIA) Posted: 26 Mar 2013 10:39 AM PDT HERE'S TO NEW RUSSIA MINUS THE MUSLIMS & SHARIA  A local TV station in Krasnoyarsk city reported that an unnamed third-year student from Muslim-populated Dagestan had been expelled from the city's medical school for wearing a headscarf.   "After the TV report was broadcast, the Krasnoyarsk district prosecutors launched a probe to check the legitimacy of the expulsion," local prosecutor's aid Yelena Pimonenko said.   Krasnoyarsk State Medical University confirmed that one of its students had been expelled for "violating internal regulations", but declined to specify which rules.   According to the school's rules issued in February and published on its website, students are forbidden from entering university premises in "items of clothing that stress their religious affiliation", as well as headwear (except for medical items), beach wear and outer clothing.   READ MORE http://abna.ir/data.asp?lang=3&id=403173

The protesters, among them relatives of the victim, gathered outside the ministry in Tunis shouting slogans against Badi, including “Minister of shame, get out!” and “Ministers who protect pedophiles have no place among us.” The young girl was raped repeatedly by the caretaker of the nursery in La Marsa, an upscale suburb of the capital, according to the police.  The suspect was arrested on Saturday. On the same day, Badi, who as minister of families as well of women’s affairs is responsible for children’s nurseries, said a member of the girl’s family was to blame and that no measures against the caretaker were needed. While immigration to Portugal was less common, Portuguese press reported a 2 percent decrease in foreign residents for 2011. Sheikh David Munir, the popular imam of Lisbon’s Central Mosque, realizes that Muslims are leaving Portugal and estimates attendance at Friday prayers, which averaged about 1,000 faithful a couple years ago, is down by 10 to 15 percent. According to the report, titled "Moving On: Iberia's New Muslims," much of Lisbon’s immigrant life is concentrated in Martim Moniz Plaza, where the two malls, with 60 and 156 shops, were quickly occupied by Africans, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, Brazilians, and Chinese.
