Homeowner 3, Bad Guys 0

This past weekend, a family in Sacramento, California was a having a sleepover.  A little after 3:00 am, several armed intruders broke into the home.  Their mistake was that they picked the wrong house.

The homeowner had a gun and knew how to use it.  He used his gun to protect his family and the other kids that were there for the sleepover.  He drove the intruders outside where a gun battle ensued.  Local police were called to a report of gun shots being fired.  When they arrived, they found one intruder dead and the homeowner with non-life threatening wounds.  Later that day, a second intruder was arrested and found to have been wounded in the gun battle.  There may have been a third intruder involved since another young man showed up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound.

Details are still sketchy, but robbery appears to have been the motive, but who knows what may have happened had the armed intruders discovered the kids there for the sleepover.

Again, we have another example of a homeowner who was able to protect his family and guests by having a loaded gun in the house.  But if Obama, Holder and Biden have their way, that homeowner would not have been armed and would not have able to protect his family and guests and it could have been the homeowner lying dead, instead of an intruder and would-be robber.
