The world owes a lot to the sheer genius and ingenuity of the Jewish people; they have made the world better with their scientific discoveries. In one case in particular, Dr. Jonas Salk, a Jew, freed the world's children from the horrible disease of polio. Most people living today have never seen a child ravaged by polio. Muslims, who rarely offer the world anything in the way of scientific discoveries, are murdering people who are administering free polio vaccines. I distinctly remember in the Fall of 1955 as an elementary student receiving the new polio vaccine. It was developed by Dr. Jonas Salk. (Yes, he was a brilliant Jewish medical researcher.) Polio was the terror of parents and children in the 1950s. I had a good friend who contracted polio. As a result one of his legs was two inches shorter than the other. He had to wear a built up shoe to compensate. There was a girl in my class at school who walked only with heavy steel braces on both legs. These were the lucky kids. Some kids were so damaged that they could exist only in what was called an iron lung. It literally breathed for children whose lungs had been paralyzed by polio.
But the good Dr. Jonas Salk changed all that. By 1960 an oral vaccine had been developed. A few drops of vaccine were placed on a sugar cube. Three treatments over several months gave life long immunity from polio. It was literally a treament that was sweet as candy and yet eradicated this feared disease. Today most doctors under fifty years of age have never seen an active case of polio. Thank God literally for the pioneering work of Dr. Jonas Salk. His humanitarian efforts have spared millions of children in the last 58 years from disability and death.
There are only three countries in the entire world where polio has not been eradicated. These countries are Afghanistan, Pakistan and Nigeria. In addition to having active cases of polio, these three countries have something else in common. All three have significant minorities of radical, militant Muslims. The radicals are doing everything they can to stop the free administration of the oral polio vaccine. Including the killing of the people who are the polio immunization workers. Since December of 2012 at least 19 workers have been shot dead in these three countries by the mad dog Islamic terrorists. Most educate Muslim doctors and health workers to their everlasting credit have opposed these bloodthirsty fanatics.
The fanatics have told the common people that the polio vaccine causes sterility, AIDS, and other horrible diseases. This misinformation campaign seeks to instill a very false
sense of fear in the populace. It has been somewhat successful in stopping the vaccination of children, but not entirely. So the Muslim mad men have resorted to killing the workers who go house to house vaccinating children free of charge.
What saddens me is there is a simple, painless solution to saving millions of children from the ravages of polio. I think these Muslim gunmen have a real inferiority complex toward the Western world. After all, it was a Jew who liberated the world from the deadly scourge of polio. Instead of welcoming this life saving scientific advance that the West wishes to share with the Third World, these fanatics are determined that that little children will remain mired in ignorance and disease.
Islam is an inherently irrational religion. It cares for nothing but the brutality of a 7th Century legal code called Sharia. These barbarians have not progressed any over the last 1400 years. Meanwhile, countless generations of the unborn will be subjected to the devastation of an unnecessary disease.
A friend of mine has a crude, but truthful axiom. "You can't fix stupid !" When I see helpless babies and children of any race and religion suffering from a preventable disease, my blood boils.
