Propaganda video shows N. Korean missiles destroying White House

Starting March 18, a 4-minute video was broadcast on Youtube's North Korean Uriminzokkiri channel that depicts Washington, DC being incinerated by North Korean nuclear missiles.

The video included images of the White House and the U.S Capitol being both obliterated by North Korea's nuclear missiles.

Entitled "Striking the War's Fortress," the video was produced by the North Korean government in Pyongyang to coincide with the new sanctions imposed upon North Korea for its new round of nuclear test last month.

This is not the first time such warmongering propaganda videos have been broadcast. In early February, Pyongyang aired a video that showed New York City being destroyed by the fire of a nuclear explosion, followed by official announcement that Pyongyang would launch "preemptive nuclear strike" against the United States.

To counter such belligerence, on March 19, the U.S. conducted a practice bomb-dropping flight of B-52 strategic bombers that took off in Guam and landed in South Korea.

Meanwhile, Deputy Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter and Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Counter-Terrorism and Financial Intelligence David Cohen arrived March 18 in Seoul to coordinate the implementation of U.N. and unilateral sanctions against Pyongyang, especially its nuclear proliferation attempts.
