Marla Murasko: Did the TSA harrass us because of our special needs son? Posted: 16 Apr 2013 07:28 AM PDT
Oh, a letter. Yeah, that'll go far.
But as we know, TSA clerks routinely ignore doctor's notes and their own procedures.
Welcome to the wacky world of the dictatorial TSA! Then, just for good measure, one of the clerks threatened her:
Sorry, Ms. Murasko. You shouldn't have had to go through this. But neither should the millions of other people who've gone through similar abuse and written about it, publicized it, and tried to get people such as you to wake up. As the saying goes, one grope at a time. One grope at a time. You can read the entire column here. I hope Murasko submits a comment to the public docket during this open comment period. Homeland Security Committee and TSA Posted: 16 Apr 2013 06:24 AM PDT
It's the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee:
We encourage you to flood the Facebook page and Twitter feed with comments about the TSA, especially now, during the public comment period. Meanwhile, the New York Times has finally written about the public comment period, which is especially welcome since the government's TSA Blog tried to hide the information from the public. UPDATE: Oh, well, wouldn't you know it: the HSGAC's Facebook page is either non-existent or messed up. The link doesn't work. And when I sent a note to the webmaster, as requested on the HSGAC page itself, the message got bounced. Once again, our tax dollars in action! |
