One (scholar) gave us a list of 30-32 bloggers," Mainuddin Khandakar, head of the committee, told Xinhua.  He said they have already closed a website for "hurting religious sentiments". Muslim-majority Bangladesh discourages blasphemy by a provision in its penal code that prohibits "hurting religious sentiments".  Under existing law, Khandkar said insulting Islam and the prophet was a crime that may be punished by both imprisonment and fine.  THIS IS NOT GOING TO END WELL. NEW BILL MAY DIVERT TAX DOLLARS ALLOCATED FOR PUBLIC SCHOOLS TO PAY FOR PRIVATE ISLAMIC SCHOOLS(TENNESSEE) Posted: 31 Mar 2013 09:17 AM PDT IF PASSED THIS IS WHAT YOUR TAX DOLLARS WILL BE PAYING FOR  A pair of proposals rapidly moving through the Tennessee General Assembly could potentially divert tax dollars currently allocated to public schools to Islamic private schools, and two Rutherford County senators are raising concerns about the legislation. “This is an issue we must address,” state Sen. Jim Tracy (R-Shelbyville) said. “I don’t know whether we can simply amend the bill in such a way that will fix the issue at this point.” State Sen. Bill Ketron (R-Murfreesboro) and Tracy each expressed their concerns Friday over Senate Bill 0196, commonly called the “School Voucher Bill” and sponsored by fellow Sen. Mark Norris (R-Collierville), which would give parents of children attending failing public schools a voucher with which to enroll in a private school. State monies that would otherwise be spent on educating the student in public schools would then be diverted to qualifying private schools to pay private tuition for the student, in whole or in part. Islamic schools throughout the state, including Nashville and Memphis where several of Tennessee’s lowest performing schools are located, would qualify to receive such students under the state-funded voucher program. The organization is trying to "motivate girls towards Islam", the letter warned "People are now attracted towards science. These women are trying to ask girls to wear a burqa and study Islam. 4,300 POLICE OFFICERS TO PROTECT ALL JAKARTA CHURCHES DURING EASTER SERVICES FROM LOCAL ISLAMIC GROUPS Posted: 30 Mar 2013 10:27 PM PDT The Jakarta Police will deploy about 4,300 officers to guard 1,129 churches, especially those prone to threats of forced closure or attacks, in Greater Jakarta on Sunday when they hold Easter services. Jakarta Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Rikwanto said on Saturday that the officers would come from police forces at all levels in Greater Jakarta, with additional personnel coming from the Jakarta Public BOrder Agency. “Police officers have been maintaining security at all churches in their respective jurisdictions since Thursday until Sunday afternoon,” he told The Jakarta Post.
