Ten out of the top twelve countries with an obesity problem per capita are Muslim countries for both women and men. Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, is known for its social scene which is centered around eating out, with American sized portions, Friday brunches, and fast food culture. However, because of their sedentary lifestyle, not to mention women forced to endure the extreme heat dressed in big black garbage bags, there is a growing concern over the UAE’s obesity epidemic.
