Benghazi Rally

Dear Benghazi Patriot,

This is short notice for such a major event, but it has to be done.

You see, Special Operations Speaks www.specialoperationsspeaks.comis mounting an event to put pressure on the House of Representatives (and especially Speaker Boehner!) to form a select committee to investigate the tragedy that was Benghazi.

As a first step toward causing Congress to get serious about assigning responsibility for what happened at Benghazi, we are organizing a rally that will be held on the steps of the US Capitol at noon on Tuesday, July 23, 2013.  That rally will hear words from a number of patriots, including Congressmen Steve Stockman and Louie Gohmert, both of whom have been very supportive of our efforts to answer Hillary Clinton’s heartless answer to a Senator’s question about the men who died at Benghazi: “What difference does it make?”

Be with us next week as we demonstrate to Hillary and others like her “what difference it makes.”  Bring yourself, a carload, or a busload, but be there.

Thousands of you showed up to protect the Vietnam Wall in 2007; please help us demonstrate that we will not tolerate the murder-by-neglect of four of America’s finest on September 12, 2012.  Please help us send a message to our nation’s leaders that we demand full accountability for this national crime.

See the press release below for details.

Yours for a safe America!

Special Operations Speaks to Unroll

Record-Setting Petition/Scroll Down Capitol Building Steps Demanding Benghazi House Select Committee

High profile event will highlight filing discharge

petition for H. Res 36 nationwide grassroots campaign to follow

WHAT:            A press conference to unroll largest petition ever presented to Congress, containing the signatures of 1,000 Special Operations veterans demanding a House Select Committee to investigate the Benghazi Terrorist Massacre.

The dramatic unrolling of the 60-foot long petition/scroll down the House Ceremonial Stairway will be the opening volley in a nationwide campaign urging House members to sign the Discharge Petition forcing House consideration of HR 36 – the bill to establish a Select Committee to fully investigate the Benghazi Massacre.

WHEN:           The event will begin promptly at 12:00 noon on July 23, 2013.

WHERE:         The House Ceremonial Stairway on the House side of the U.S. Capitol Building.

WHO:             Scheduled speakers at this point in time include the following:

·         Rep. Steve Stockman (R-TX)

·         SOS Co-Founder Dick Brauer Jr., Colonel, USAF (Ret)

(PLEASE NOTE: Many additional speakers will be added on up until the time of the event. Please watch for “ScrollOut Updates and Alerts” over the next seven days.)

HOW:             The Discharge Petition ScrollOut Event will be set-up so as to allow maximum opportunity for news media photo-ops, video, and audio coverage. The 60-foot record-setting scroll/petition will be set up directly in front of the podium before being unrolled all the way down the stairs and across the sidewalk during the event.

Large graphics featuring both H. Res 36 and the Discharge Petition will be to either side of the podium.     A banner featuring the photos of the Americans slain during the Benghazi Terrorist Massacre will be directly behind and above the podium.

Copies of all speeches will be made available to the press. And the press conference will be opened for questions immediately following the unrolling of the scroll/petition, which will be accompanied by an Honor Guard playing taps in honor of the fallen Americans.

Should you need any special accommodation, please notify Amanda Flontek or Alex Rosenwald.
