SEE AMAZING Kamikaze Attack in 1945

This is a great story from the war in the Pacific.  Got it from a friend in the Southern Chapter of MILITARY OFFICERS ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA.
This destroyer (USS Laffey DD-724) was part of the picket line (radar early warning) estab. to protect/warn the huge Okinawa invasion fleet from the large flights of kamikazes!  Talk about being on the point of the spear!

<>Great naval footageYou are right in the gun turret under attack. Turn up your volume.  This will give you a true feeling of what war really is….

A kamikaze attack in 1945 … this clip gives you a feel for what it was like in the gun turret.
